Project in 4K for less
While I wouldn’t spruik this as an ‘amazing’ 4K projector, the Anker Nebula Cosmos 4K is a good option when it’s got a whopping 63% off on Amazon!
In TechRadar’s testing, we found the projector had a few processing issues and it couldn’t quite handle action well, but user reviews seem to disagree. I did a scan of some of the Aussie user reviews and there was overwhelming praise to say the least. In our Anker Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K projector review we called out its versatility, but had to dock points for its performance. Users, however, love its picture quality and some even think its sound is fantastic.

Amazon’s audiobook service Audible has a new promotion right now exclusively for Prime members, and it’s perfect if you love stories but never get enough time to sit and read.
For a limited time, new Audible customers can try the audiobook subscription service for free for three months. but note that this offer is available to Prime members who have never tried the service before.
After the first three months, the cost of the service returns to its usual AU$16.45 monthly fee, unless cancelled before that.
This will get you access to thousands of audiobooks and can listen any time and anywhere via the Audible app and, if you own an Echo speaker, you can have Alexa start the narration when you’re ready to listen at home.

Day 4 is here… how time flies when you’re having fun shopping, eh?
Well, if you are shopping along with us, note that some of the best deals are going fast. Dyson’s cheap V8 vacuums went like hot cakes, both the standard V8 and the V8 Extra. AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2 offers also disappeared yesterday, and the Apple Watch SE 2 for AU$299 also sold out real quick.
Today, there’s a further price drop on the 2-pack Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 electric toothbrush and the Philips Series 9000 Prestige shaver – they’re now at record-low prices.
The cost of other items have also changed since last night, but not by too much. If they’re still worth it at a slightly higher price, we’ve left the offers listed above. There’s still over 165 to peruse. Happy shopping!
My day 3 deal of the day
There’s so many to choose from!
I’m tempted to go with the record-low price on the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones, but that price has steadily been dropping through all of June. So the Prime Day discount on it shouldn’t really come as a surprise.
My vote today goes to a robot vacuum cleaner. I love the Ecovacs Deebot T30 Omni – I tested it myself over a period of a few months and, even though it lacks ‘smart’ features, it has all the essentials you need to automate your floor cleaning without too requiring too much human intervention.
It can vacuum well, although if you have particularly high pile carpets or dirty ones, it will struggle, and it mops just as well too thanks to its extendable pads. It effectively empties its onboard bin into the dust bag inside the base station and the mop-pad washing is fantastic. After months of use, my mop pads still looked like they had plenty of life in them. Hot-air drying for the mop pads is also there.
What do you need to do? Make sure the clean water tank is refilled and the dirty water cleaned out. Every couple of months, change out the dust bag. That’s it.
All this for just AU$799 is an absolute steal!
(Robo)rock your way to a cleaner home
We’re certainly not left wanting when it comes to options for keeping our homes clean here in Australia. But as with any product category, some are better than others. Fortunately, one of the TechRadar Australia team members can confidently vouch for the Roborock F25 ACE wet-dry vacuum cleaner, as he’s still using it to this day after publishing his review.
Designed to be used on hard floors, this lightweight machine manages to keep virtually all my floor surfaces clean, thanks to its ability to get up close to edges and the fact it can lay completely flat. That latter feature has proven particularly useful, as it makes it easier for me to get under my dining room table and bathroom vanity units.
It’s got powerful suction to suck up small debris and the companion app opens you up to a world of customisation, from everything to cleaning to drying. Maintenance is relatively easy, too, just make sure you enter the dirty water tank after each use… it can begin to smell foul otherwise!

If this stretches your budget a little too far, you can get the Roborock F25 for a tad less. It misses out on intelligent dirt detection and automatic cleaning adjustments, as well as app connectivity. Elsewhere, however, it can still lay flat and offers edge cleaning.

Swift and silky
If you’re looking to upgrade your haircare routine with one of the best hair dryers, then, like most people realistically, you’re going to want the all-singing, all-dancing Dyson Supersonic Nural. But it’s no secret Dyson’s hair drying whizz is far too expensive to justify for many, which is where the Laifen Swift comes in.
We rate the Laifen Swift as being the best Dyson Supersonic alternative, not just because of how it looks and the fact it has magnetic attachments, but because it does a mighty-fine job of drying hair quickly and with excellent results.
You get three temperature and two speed settings, which we found to be more than enough for the average user in our Laifen Swift review. We would’ve liked to have seen a separate cool shot button, but at least you can cycle through the temperature settings to get to cold to lock your style in.

This Bose is boss – QC Ultra Headphones for a record-low price
Stop the presses because Bose’s best cans are constantly dropping in price!
The QC Ultra Headphones were AU$399 earlier in June (we wrote about that on June 2), then they dropped to AU$398 in during Amazon’s Mid-Year Sale, then dropped again later in June down to just AU$392.99 via a coupon.
Now, though, it’s got the Prime Day treatment with an even bigger discount, down to AU$368.60 for the black and Lunar Blue variants, but the Smoke White is just 5c more. The other colour options are out of stock.
Why the Bose QC Ultra Headphones? Firstly, they’re flagship Bose cans, so you’re getting world-class performance and comfort here. Secondly, they’ve been our pick of the best noise-cancelling headphones since they launched in 2023, only recently being challenged by the brand-new Sony WH-1000XM6 (which we doubt will see a discount any time soon).
That’s got to say something. If you have the spare cash, these premium headphones are absolutely worth it for a very generous discount.

Smart lighting for less
If you still haven’t gotten into home automation and you’ve been curious about it, then one of the easiest places to start is with a smart light system. And no one does that better than the Philips Hue range. These are easy to set up and every bulb is Bluetooth-enabled, so there’s no need for the old Hue Bridge anymore. Just get started with some bulbs and the app.
The thing about the Hue bulbs are that they don’t come cheap. They’re a very hefty investment at full price; in fact, even discounted they can be expensive. Still, they’re very good.
You do need to make sure you buy the correct fitting though – check whether your bulb holders are Edison screw (E14, E27) fittings or bayonet (like B22). All Hue bulbs are available in both fittings.

Need a new Kindle? This is my recommendation
While the deal on the Kindle Scribe is the higher percentage off, not everyone is going to need to write notes or draw. In fact, not everyone will want a 10-inch screen.
If you want a very capable ereader only with the latest tech, I’d recommend picking up the Kindle Paperwhite (2024) for AU$217. As far as I can tell, this is the best price it’s been since it’s release in October last year and you get a lovely 7-inch E Ink Carta 13 screen that’s got excellent contrast and sharpness. It’s even very responsive.
I would still say that a Kobo is the better buy, even at full price, for Aussie readers as you can listen to audiobooks or borrow from a library. No Kindle today supports Bluetooth connectivity for Audible access, which diminishes their value (at least in my opinion). You will, of course, be able to access the Prime Reading or the Kindle Unlimited libraries on any Kindle.
Still, if it’s a Kindle your heart is set on, the best Prime Day Kindle deal is the Paperwhite’s 27% discount.

How fast can deals make it to my door – an Amazon shipping guide
If you’re an Amazon shopper in Australia, you’ve probably noticed that shipping speeds can vary depending on where you live and whether you’re shopping during one of Amazon’s major sales.
If it’s the latter, even Prime members won’t necessarily get same-day or next-day delivery. Amazon holds its shipping till the end of the sale. For example, most items discounted during Prime Day will start shipping only on July 11 if you buy today (July 9), but add on a day for each day farther into the sale that you go. Most orders, however, will get shipped by July 14, which is the last day of the sale.
Through the rest of the year, Prime members who live in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, and select metro areas, Amazon offers next-day shipping on a huge range of products for Prime members. Order today, and your package could be at your door tomorrow. If you’re not a Prime member, standard shipping options are still available, but delivery times may be longer, and you might need to pay extra.
If you live in Sydney or Melbourne, you might even qualify for same-day shipping on select items, but you’ll need an Amazon Prime membership for this option as well. This means that if you place your order before lunchtime, you could have it by the evening, but your minimum spend has to be AU$49 to qualify. It’s a great option for last-minute gifts or urgent purchases.

It’s day three and even though it’s supposed to be a marathon, it feels like we’ve just been sprinting the last two days. What I mean by that is we’re constantly scrambling to find the best Prime Day deals. The more we find, there always seems more that we might have missed.
If you’ve been following your coverage, you probably would have noticed that we started our Prime Day coverage on Tuesday, July 8 with a manageable 60-odd offers. Game on! The Corsair wireless headset discount you need to hear about
Not the lowest price – which was AU$149 during Amazon’s Big Smile Sale earlier this year – a 29% discount is still worth considering on what is arguably a fabulous gaming headset. Read our Corsair HS80 Max review for the full scoop, but we give it 4 stars, and say:
While a good sounding headset, the Corsair HS80 Max distinguishes itself mostly on the strength of its feature set. It doesn’t have multipoint connectivity, but it has both wireless and Bluetooth, along with a bunch of EQ options including a personalisation one. On top of that, it offers customisable RGB lighting that many budget and mid-range wireless models skip.
Pretty good really. That said, the cheaper option is the white variant, but that is being shipped and sold by Amazon Japan. The local stock, which is the black colourway, is a little over AU$5 more via the same listing. Either way, they’re still a good bargain, so take your pick.

Bring the Megaboom!
I’m a sucker for good Bluetooth speaker and the Ultimate Ears range, particularly the Megaboom, has always been among my favourites.
I’ve not seen a discount this low on the Megaboom 4 before – those are usually reserved for smaller, less powerful Boom 4 – so this AU$121.95 saving at Amazon is something to shout about.

Fizz it up in style
While SodaStream might be the most popular sparkling water maker brand on the market, kudos has to be given to Breville for making what is arguably one of the most better-looking soda makers.
I have this machine at home and it fits right into my home bar, helping me making cocktails or even just re-fizz some flattened cola. Yes, the Breville InFizz Fusion can carbonate any drinkable liquid as long as it’s not a hot beverage! The power in a good shot
The compact camera is back!
Canon released the PowerShot V1 in February this year, its first compact in yonks, resurrecting the nostalgia of the PowerShot G7 X series. It also bring a slew of upgrades without blowing out the price too much. Even at full price (AU$1,449), it’s well worth the investment for the budding content creator.
Featuring a larger 1.4-inch sensor for better light performance, it also has a versatile 3.1x zoom to get you closer to the action. It’s packed full of features for content creators, including 4K/60p video. We said it has “Sony-beating vlogging skills” in our Canon PowerShot V1 review and that is high praise indeed as Sony’s ZV series are some powerful vlogging snappers indeed.
Getting its biggest Amazon discount we have seen since its recent launch, the Canon PowerShot V1 is well worth considering if you’re eyeing a new camera.

So, what’s in my cart?
If you ask me what’s in my cart… well, I’m shoe shopping this time.
As a massive Skechers fan – I own seven pairs already – I keep my eye on prices during sales to see what other shoe I can bag. Excessive (obsessive?) maybe, but these are good shoes. Ever since I got diagnosed with severe plantar fasciitis, I’ve worn exclusively Skechers as the brand’s Arch-Fit footwear provide relief, and the soles are soft and comfortable.
Then I discovered the Slip-Ins. I bought myself my first of those last year during Black Friday and, oh boy, they really are so easy to slip into! So much so that this time round, I’m treating my parents to a pair each. Both struggle to bend and wearing shoes that require a shoe horn or a finger to fit into isn’t ideal for them.
Well, I already bought my dad one pair of Slip-Ins about two weeks ago, but he’s getting another pair for his birthday on July 12. Mum, too, will get a new pair.

Phone charging on the go
Looking for a way to stay charged when on the go? Anker makes some of my favourite power banks (not to mention other accessories) that can handle charging anything from earbuds to a phone or high-powered laptop. One of the best is the mighty Anker 737, but it’s on the larger, heavier side and means I also have to carry cables.

Fire up your TV
When it comes to streaming devices, none are as good value as Amazon’s Fire TV Sticks. You can get some really affordable options, but I think the Fire TV Stick 4K (2023) is arguably the best option of them all – not too expensive but full featured.
While any streaming device will give you access to practically all platforms, plus some other apps too, the Fire TV Stick 4K stands out by offering a speedy navigation system, great performance, support for 4K resolution and Dolby Vision. It’s also controllable via the Alexa voice assistant.
It’s also Wi-Fi 6 enabled, plus you’ll get access to Xbox Game Pass via the device to play your favourite games. That’s a lot of features for not a lot of money. Amazon has slashed the price of the Fire TV Stick 4K by 40%, so you can pick it up for just AU$59 – that’s AU$10 shy of its Black Friday 2024 price, but note that this is a Prime-exclusive offer.

A Flippin’ great Bluetooth speaker
Besides a capable pair of headphones, we’d argue the other audio essential for the discerning music listener is a Bluetooth speaker, and few are as talented at the JBL Flip 6.
JBL been a true master of the portable Bluetooth speaker game for years and the Flip 6 certainly continues that tradition. It’s built tough to survive knocks and bumps, while an IP67-rating means it’s protected against dust and water.
It’s a talented performer across the entire frequency range, although it’s the bass department we have to give particular praise to. This thing can go real low, thanks to dual passive radiators, while a separate tweeter takes care of the mids and highs. It has no issue filling a room either, especially if you pair it with multiple other Flip 6s (you can connect up to 100 if you’re so inclined).
It has recently been replaced by a newer Flip 7 model, but right now it’s pretty tricky to track down in Australia. Plus, the arrival of a newer model allows the price of this one to drop dramatically, and for just AU$95 – which is a way better deal than last week’s AU$109 – we think it’s a genuine bargain.

Put a (Galaxy) ring on it
Samsung’s first smart ring is down to its lowest price right now as part of the Prime Day festivities – just AU$549. The Ring is capable of many of the same health tracking features as its smart watch siblings, including tracking steps, heart rate and sleep. It’s a decent gadget to consider if you want more insight into your sleep without needing to wear a watch to bed.
Before you make a purchase, however, do yourself a favour and buy the AU$10 Sizing Kit first – just so you know what size you should buy. Unfortunately the AU$10 promo credit towards the Galaxy Ring when buying the Sizing Kit doesn’t stack with the Galaxy Ring’s current discount, but I’m willing to forgive this given the Ring is at such a good price right now. Once you’ve purchased the Sizing Kit, wait for its arrival and try the rings out. Wear them for a bit and make a call on which Ring is best for you – and then buy your selected Ring size.

Are you a Prime member yet?
If there’s one thing you need to do to take full advantage of Amazon’s Prime Day sale is to become a Prime member. While I think many Aussies already are, some of you might still be wondering what it means to be a Prime member, what you’re actually paying for and if shelling out a monthly or annual sum is actually worth it.
In short, if you are a regular Amazon shopper, I think it’s worth signing up for it. Your AU$9.99 monthly fee (or AU$79 annually) gets you free and expedited shipping on thousands of products without needing to fulfil a minimum spend. For example, I recently bought a 900g packet of semolina costing AU$4.99 and I paid no shipping fee as it was Prime eligible with next-day delivery.
That fee also gets you free access to Prime Video (which does have some excellent shows and movies too), along with Prime Reading and Prime Gaming. Just the first one more than makes up for the investment you’re making in my opinion.

Has it been a busy day!
Day one of Prime Week – yes, I will call it Prime Week, sue me! – was an exciting one. While a lot of the offers we saw last week were actually cheaper than they are now, there were many others that are a lot better.
Case in point: the Nikon Z6 III price is a fantastic one today!
But that’s not my pick of the best deal of the day, that credit has to go to the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro that dropped to its lowest price yet. It’s such a fantastic action camera, offering pro-level video capabilities for a fraction of the price, that it’s hard to ignore.

This Vornado deal will blow you away
Every time we see a discount on Vornado fans, we have to write about it. They’re all powerful enough to make the Aussie summer more bearable (when it arrives later in the year, of course), but this particular model takes things a step further.
The Vornado 633DC fan promises to be 80% more energy efficient than the company’s ‘regular’ fans, potentially saving you a little cash on your electricity bill through when the hot months land. Moreover, it offers up 99 speed settings. Listen to this AirPods 4 deal
If you’re an iPhone owner and you’re looking for the perfect headphone companion, look no further than the AirPods Pro 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, which have now hit their lowest-ever price on Amazon of just AU$251.
Apple’s flagship earbuds, the AirPods Pro 2, may steal most of the headlines (they’re down by AU$95 for Prime Day) but there’s much to love about the tech giant’s step-down in-ears. As we said in our Apple AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation review, they are “remarkably close in sound quality to the AirPods Pro 2, and that’s without the buds providing a true seal of the ear”
They also support Spatial Audio, which works well not just for music, but for movies as well. Plus, as their name implies, they have ANC which is incredibly effective, especially when you consider the design of the ‘buds, which goes without silicone ear tips that help to create a stronger seal in the ear canal.
Ultimately, they’re a fantastic of in-ear headphones that offer a great overall value. If your budget can’t stretch to the Pro 2s, these are a worthwhile alternative.

Kindle your (digital) scribing
This is arguably my favourite early Prime Day deal of 2025 – a fabulous discount on the latest edition of the Kindle Scribe. You can read more about why I think the 2024 Kindle Scribe at its 31% discount is a good buy, but know that this is the lowest price yet on the 10.2-inch E Ink writing tablet.
It’s a very versatile Kindle that I use every day as my ereader and digital notebook. All my work and personal notes are in there, plus it carries my entire library of ebooks (I have the 64GB variant). I spend hours each day with it, so trust me when I say that if you want a good large-screen E Ink tablet, this one is a good option, especially when discounted to its lowest price yet.

A robovac that can do it all – for not a lot of money
I only finished my Ecovacs Deebot T30 Omni review earlier in the year and I can’t help but extol its prowess. It’s arguably one of the best robot vacuums I’ve tested and, importantly, it’s got fantastic value for money. It’s full featured with all the important things you need for a fully autonomous cleaning machine, with a decent price tag even at full price.
It manages to balance price, feature set and performance very nicely indeed. For a robovac that can vacuum, mop, empty its dust bin and mop water, refill with clean water, then wash and dry its mop pads, the T30 Omni truly is a marvel – even its design concept is fantastic. It carries an RRP of AU$1,749 – which isn’t bad when you consider similar bots cost upwards of two grand – but this 54% discount it down to its best price yet. That, dear reader, I think is a good investment on a fantastic robovac.

Bose bargains
I use the Bose QC Ultra Headphones regularly, although my daily set are the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds. I’m a big fan and I can’t think of swapping either of them out for any other set. And the good news is they’re both discounted on Amazon right now.
You can read more about why we recommend the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones, especially when they’re under AU$400 – the lowest price yet – but the buds are down to AU$299 (or 35% off). Both offer excellent performance and sound quality, and they both quite comfy too.
If you aren’t too fussed about missing out on Bose’s fancy Immersive Audio, which is found in the Ultra series, but still want a fantastic set of headphones for not a huge amount of money, the Bose QuietComfort SC is a great buy. Even better, it’s equal to the lowest price we have seen on Amazon.
Other than that, the main difference between the SC and the Ultra is the quality of materials used – for example, the Ultra has a little more cushioning for the earcups, but the SC are still very comfy. It’s also a folding design, which you won’t get with the Ultra, and it comes in a soft case as compared to the Ultra’s hard one (the SC in the name denotes the ‘soft case’).
Both have lovely sound, although the Ultras will be a touch better as they process sound differently to the SC, while battery life and ANC performance is quite similar on both. So if you want to save some cash but not skimp on sound, you can grab the SC for under AU$250

A mirrorless marvel from Nikon

Fly high with this DJI deal
While it might have been succeeded by the Mini 4 Pro, the DJI Mini 3 is still one of TechRadar’s favourite compact drone. The RC version – which is bundled with the DJI remote controller with the screen – is now reduced from AU$939 to just AU$748. It’s not the very cheapest we have seen, but still a pretty good deal.
This backpack-friendly – and dare I say wallet-friendly – drone weighs just under 250g, which means it doesn’t need to be registered with CASA for flying, but it would be advisable that you read all the guidelines carefully before flying your first drone.

You really don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on a hair dryer for healthy tresses after each wash. It’s back! Amazon Prime Day 2025 has officially kicked off for another year. In fact, it started just after midnight and, for the first time ever, it will go on for a full seven days! Yes, you read that right – Amazon has extended its Prime Day sale to a record duration of a full week!
I can already imagine some bargain hunters feeling shopper’s fatigue… or is there such a thing? I mean, we’ve only just finished EOFY sales in Australia and, eight days later, Prime Day 2025 has come calling.
Well, this is a sale with a difference – it’s just one single retailer but, the good news is, it’s a retailer that has several official stores of some of the most popular brands in Australia. From Apple to Dyson, Samsung to Canon, there’s a lot of official Aussie stock to purchase.
Buyer beware, though, as there are third-party resellers who also sell on Amazon. My recommendation is if the item is being shipped by Amazon but sold by a third party, you’ll be fine as Amazon takes full responsibility if anything should go wrong with your order. It’s the items that are shipped and sold by third parties that can be a problem, but you can check their reviews on Amazon if you do wish to make a purchase.
Well, stick with me for the next seven days – if it’s a good tech bargain you’re after, I’ll be hunting those down, sifting the chaff and presenting some good and interesting products. Most of these we would have tested ourselves and, given my experience hunting down Prime Day deals since the sale began in 2018, I hope you trust my choices to be good ones.
